We had an absolutely wonderful time at Thaba Lodge. The grounds are beautiful and spacious. The drives with Xander were so amazing. He has so much insight and knows all the best places to see the animals. We saw lots of amazing animals on our drive and we even saw Zebras at the pool. Marike was super sweet and helpful with everything we needed! We will definitely be visiting again.

We had family visitors from Northern Ireland and wanted a special but private bush experience for us all. Thaba was just perfect. Spacious, private, beautiful bedrooms and private bathrooms, a communal area which consisted of two lounges, a dining area so big it was amazing (inside and outside), a bar and games area. For those not wanting to miss sports there were two large and well placed TVs. A private boma where we had stunning braais and which was so perfectly equipped that there was absolutely nothing missing. The pool area was a hit, comfy loungers and right at the boundary so a few buck often walked past. The staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful and kept the place really tidy whilst we were there. What was extra special is that we could choose which times we wanted to go on game drives and for how long - a toddler of 3 was able to join us so we wanted the freedom of knowing we wouldn't be confined to other people's times. Thanks to Zander for lovely game drives. So many elephant and so many babies - devine. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a family or friends luxurious get away.
